Advent is a special time of the year at Sacred Heart. The four Sundays that lead up to Christmas each have a special meaning of hope, love, joy and peace. As we prepare for the Christmas holiday, we often find ourselves caught up in the busyness of the holidays. We encourage you to set aside the secular distractions and take some time each week to prepare for the birth of Jesus!

Advent at Sacred Heart
Advent Evening of Reflection - Slow down and prepare your heart for the beauty of Advent! Join us at Sacred Heart Church on Sunday, November 22, from 7 pm – 8:30 pm as Stacy Halbach shares a reflection on the “Sacredness of Slow” during this special season of preparation. All ages are welcome! Stay afterward for cookies, hot cocoa, and fellowship in the Parish Center.
Advent Book Offering - We invite you to participate in a new Advent book offering - Joy to the World - An Advent Journey with the Angelus. Advent provides a wonderful opportunity to refocus your prayer life and center it on Christ. Joy to the World invites parishioners to encounter joy through Mary's fiat and the daily prayer of the Angelus. It is a guided journal and meditation that will help you enter more deeply into the season of Advent. Please register to reserve your book.
Bambinelli Weekend - Bring the baby Jesus from your home Nativity to Mass for a special blessing!
- Christmas Flowers - Honor the memory of a loved one at Sacred Heart Catholic this Christmas by donating to our Christmas Altar Flowers. Your donation to Sacred Heart Catholic for Christmas flowers will help make our church even more beautiful to celebrate the birth of Jesus! Envelopes located in the gathering space and at the north and south church and office doors.
- Posadas - Join in the Latin American tradition of remembering the search that Joseph and Mary made for shelter in Bethlehem. Join us in the Parish Center each night from December 16-23 starting 7:00 pm.
Enjoy some quiet time with the Lord during our weekly Eucharistic Adoration each Tuesday during Advent from 8:30 am - 7 pm.
Each week during Advent, Sacred Heart will offer Reconciliation on Tuesday evenings beginning at 5:30 pm and Saturdays at 3 pm.
Each week, find Sacred Heart's 'Moving Nativity' in the church to follow the journey of Mary, Joseph, the angels, and all the people of Bethlehem as they learned about Jesus' arrival!
Celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Saturday, December 12th! Join us for the parish Rosary at 5:30 pm, Outdoor Procession at 5:50 pm, and Mass begins at 6:30 pm.
